Your role

The Office of the Senior Practitioner’s (OSP) overarching purpose is to build workforce capacity to continuously improve child protection services so that children experience sustained safety, permanency, and wellbeing. We provide a range of services and learning and development programs to build the skills, knowledge and competency of practitioners and practice leaders.


What you’ll do


You will provide professional and effective administrative and office service support to facilitate the smooth operation of the OSP and the delivery of its services.


Duties include but not limited to:


  • Provide a wide range of administrative support services including financial management assistance, invoice management, travel bookings, records management, project support, diary management and other general administrative functions.
  • Manage a shared mailbox environment
  • Manage and process business information in accordance with standards and guidelines to ensure all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible as required.
  • Use relevant technology to prepare documentation and presentation material to support business unit managers and directors
  • Liaise and work across OSP units to provide tailored support and develop effective working relationships.

What we’re looking for


  • Experience in providing high level of customer support for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities with tight timeframes.
  • High level of knowledge, skills and experience with Word and Excel.

  • National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014.
  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
