Position Summary (Key Points)

As the Manager, Finance Openings, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Prepare POB(Pre-Opening Budget);
  • Complete and upload Pre-opening Check List;
  • Bank Account and POS Opening;
  • Arrange insurance for both Pre-opening and operating period.
  • Prepare Operation Budget.
  • Track and record actual pre-opening expenses spend.
  • Systems set up, including but not limited to OnQ, Sun system, HR-Link, Check SCM and etc.
  • Working capital.
  • Initial items to purchase.
  • Contract review and approval.
  • MA Summary.
  • Quarterly Rolling forecast preparation and submission.
  • Draft local policy;
  • Review and approve payroll;
  • Deliver Hilton/Owner reporting;

Chuan ;*Systems initial set up.(OnQ, Sunsystem, HR-Link, Check SCM, Doc MATRIX and etc.);

  • Develop monthly accrual list.
  • Develop all the forms will be used in hotel.
  • Conduct relative training that including but not limit to Finance onsite team member and other departments for the Finance policies.

Positions directly reporting to this position (titles-if possible):

  • Onsite Accountant;

Required Qualifications

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • University preferred Commerce Degree in Accounting and Management;
  • Previous experience in a managerial operational accounting role;
  • At least 5 years of working experience as Chief Accountant or higher in the hospitality industry;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PPT, including ability to understand/manipulate basic spreadsheets;
  • Proficient in English, both Speaking and writing;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and instill confidence in order to motivate and influence others;

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility.
  • Ability to work under pressure and strong sense of time;
  • Hotel pre-opening related experience preferred.
