The Position
As a vital member of our team, you will become part of an enthusiastic and diverse international group, comprising motivated professionals with extensive clinical, research, and pharmaceutical expertise in both global and regional/local settings. Collectively, our dedication lies in advancing clinical drug development, fostering scientific discussions, promoting medical education, and establishing proficient communication with medical leaders. Working together, these pursuits drive and inspire our team.
Leveraging your vast expertise, you will play a crucial position, operating independently to lead strategic discussions and decision-making processes for CagriSema, a promising once-weekly GLP-1-+ amylin analogue currently being investigated for weight management. You will have the opportunity to represent the Director in high-level global committees such as the Global Project Team (GPT), Core Brand Team (CBT), Core Medical Team (CMT), and Publication Planning Group (PPG), among others.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading strategic projects within the product specific committees.
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders from various cross-functional teams.
- Working cross-functionally to generate, interpret, and effectively communicate scientific data emerging on all phases of clinical trials of CagriSema Obesity.
- Successfully collaborate and communicate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and internal stakeholders, including regional teams, affiliates, marketing, patient access, development, and regulatory affairs.
The position requires relocation to Copenhagen, Denmark. Worldwide travel is a requirement in alignment with our Circular for Zero policy .
Qualifications
- You hold a medical background (MD/PhD) with minimum 5 years of clinical and/or pharmaceutical industry experience within Medical Affairs.
- You are characterized by exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration mindset (with internal and external stakeholders).
- Your strategic and critical thinking allows you to anticipate opportunities and taking initiative to address them effectively.
- Your strong communication and presentation skills enable you to convey complex scientific information clearly and concisely.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
About the Department
The CagriSema Obesity team is part of the Global Medical Affairs Obesity VP area, located in Søborg, near Copenhagen in Denmark. Our department is focused on building and executing medical strategies for Semaglutide, CagriSema, a once-weekly GLP-1-+ amylin analogue under investigation for weight management, as well as a number of exciting obesity pipeline projects .
