Business Administrator [Netherlands]

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Ki Futures is looking for a business administrator! We are searching for a passionate individual who is excited about joining a dynamic and engaging startup and wants to make a difference in their work. Our business administrator will be employed by Ki Futures, but will also help out with our non-profit, Ki Culture. We are looking for someone motivated and who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience is preferred but not required.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Managing invoices and payments;
  • Working with our accounting firm to coordinate budgets and payroll;
  • Working with the CEO and Board on creating and balancing budgets;
  • Writing annual reports for the Board;
  • Administering payments and managing company bank accounts;
  • Creating and processing expense reports;
  • Management of legal contracts;
  • Insights on development and reporting;
  • Business development input;
  • Creating and managing pitch decks and business plans;
  • Other compliances in the Netherlands

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a fast learner and excited about new challenges;
  • Is familiar and/or comfortable dealing with Dutch administration (contracts, accounting, policies, and European regulations);
  • Is proactive and self-oriented, able to work independently, but also a team player;
  • Is able to create a functional and adaptive job and workflow;
  • Has experience dealing with the general business administration matters, such as organizational and strategic planning;
  • Has the ability to deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems, and navigate large, global organizations;
  • Is assertive and analytical;
  • Has good attention to detail;
  • Is familiar with financial analysis and budgeting;
  • Has effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Has the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously;
  • Administrative experience or education preferred, but not required;
  • Understanding of Dutch B.V. structure preferred, but not required;
  • Understanding of Dutch ANBI Stichting structures preferred, but not required;
  • Is Based in The Netherlands.

Education:

Background in business or related field preferred.

Compensation and Location:

This is a part-time or full-time paid position. Salary based on experience and agreed hours. Work can be done remotely or in the office (Amsterdam). Only applicants residing in The Netherlands at this time.
