Conducting Officer Oversight & Distribution and Investment Management [Luxembourg]


 
Your field of responsibility


As Conducting Officer Oversight & Distribution and Investment Management you will directly report to the CEO of MultiConcept Fund Management S.A. and will be member of the Management Committee of the company, authorized by the CSSF.

You will be responsible for following areas:

In that role, you will be responsible for daily oversight of operations and controls of the funds’ delegated activities and delegates. Secondly, you will be responsible for the Investment Process of the AIFs (upon proposal from investment advisor(s)). This includes comprehensive and critical analysis and execution of related transactions, mainly Real Estate related. Beside of this, Private Equity and Debt knowledge and experience is considered as a clear advantage. Thirdly, you will take responsibility for the Distribution set up of global distribution function and manage the distribution partners in the EU and non-EU while you will ensure appropriate processes and execution of the registration and representation activities of the funds in scope.
Overall, the complete reporting of these activities to the Funds and MultiConcept’s senior management and board of directors will fall into your area of responsibility.
For achieving these tasks, you will rely on and manage a team of up to 4 professionals and the related supporting and outsourced counterparties in and out of the Credit Suisse network. Mainly, you will collaborate closely with our teams in Poland and Zurich. Additionally, you will provide coaching and mentoring to team to encourage and support their skill development.

Your skills and experience

The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Mathematics or equivalent
  • 15 to 20 years of experience in oversight and related experience in Portfolio Management, Oversight and Fund Distribution
  • Excellent knowledge of Fund Management Companies Governance and regulatory environment with proven experience of Luxembourgian (and Irish) UCITS/ AIFMD requirements, MIFID exposure will be considered as an advantage
  • Strong analytical, comprehension & problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact clearly, constructively, and efficiently with all types of partners like clients, regulators, directors and other senior individuals
  • Ability to work to conflicting & fast paced deadlines under pressure for self and lead the team in these circumstances with agile and adaptive organizational and project management skills who engage in the daily work with a doer attitude
  • Organized and dynamic with a strong dedication to Client Service Excellence
  • Proven leadership track record
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken) – any other European language will be an advantage
