We are currently seeking a part-time Night Porter.
The objective of the role:
To be responsible for the hotel throughout the night to include hotel and guest security, reception duties as well as maintaining the agreed standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
Duties to include the following:
To provide a friendly and efficient service to all customers and residents.
To clean the lobby area, toilets, front entrance of the hotel and ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy.
To ensure all corridors are kept clear of trays, debris etc.
To answer calls on reception where possible.
To carry out fire walks during shift and sign fire logs. Remove any blockages.
The successful candidate must have:
Excellent customer services skills
Have a warm and friendly personality
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Must be flexible as this role includes evening, night and weekend work
Must be fluent in spoken and written English as this is a customer facing role
Ideally the successful candidate will also have:
Minimum 1 years’ experience working as a Night Porter or alternatively working in a security
Previous training in first aid, manual handling, fire safety and food safety
