This team's purpose is to provide a first-class experience for the agents who work daily speaking with different users. We work on two major apps: Desk (oriented towards the Agent) and Insight (oriented towards supervisors). In our event-driven ecosystem, you'll leverage Go to build robust backend solutions using Kafka, Redis and MySQL, while employing HTML5, CSS, and JS techniques to create engaging user experiences. Your role will encompass advocating for automated testing, optimal coding, and application architecture. Collaborating cross-functionally, you'll contribute to top-quality, responsive applications that excel in performance and user experience.

What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, product, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end development process of complex web applications using Go and React
- Focus on delivering great user experiences
- Architect and implement efficient and scalable backend systems, while ensuring seamless integration with the frontend.
- Communicate with other teams to deliver a unified and consistent UX across all of our applications
- Create user interfaces that can handle both simple and complex interactions
- Collaborate to take our development to the next level: bring new ideas, frameworks, technologies and best practices
- Contribute to the growth of the team by engaging in the recruiting process
- Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and share your knowledge as appropriate
- Contribute to an on-call rotation for technical support, ensuring the reliability and availability of our systems.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 8+ years of combined back-end and front-end software development experience
- Core programming proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS
- Demonstrated proficiency in backend development, contributing to the architecture and implementation of efficient server-side solutions
- In-depth knowledge of modern HTML, CSS and the DOM
- Advanced JavaScript knowledge and experience working with React
