Pet Guardian Wanted @ Pampered Pets. Must Love All Things Furry!
Do you love taking care of animals? Are you naturally gentle with fur friends? Are you energetic
and always have a smile on your face? You might just be the person we’ve been looking for!
We are looking to hire a part-time Pet Guardian for our pet boarding facility who knows his way
around animals and how to care for them. Naturally, those with relevant experience will be
remunerated accordingly.
Skills You’ll Need To Have -
● Keeping pets’ living quarters and play areas neat, clean, and sanitised at all times
● Basic knowledge of domestic pet care tasks
● Ensuring the safety of the pets under your care during play or socialising
● Be organised and self-manage when necessary
● Understand and use basic obedience commands
● The ability to keep meticulous records of behavioural and health issues
● Knowing when to escalate issues to management
● On-boarding new fur guests and assessing their temperament
● Willingness to take on front-desk duties if needed
Skills We’d Love You To Have -
● Any relevant certifications pertaining to pet guardianship and pet care
● Letters of recommendation from former employers
● Experience working/volunteering at animal shelters
● Dog walking experience
